This project will deal with the fundamental questions of structure, function and regulation of telomerase in plant cells using model systems of Arabidopsis, Solanaceae and Asparagales. We will develop a system to identify interaction partners of Arabidopsis telomerase. This study will be accompanied by structural study of plant TERT subunit in detail.
