The project concentrates of the preparation of conducting nanofilms (40-500 nm) directly during the polymerization. The project is expected to answer the question why such films are produced at all, what is their structure and internal organization of polymer chains. Polyaniline has been selected as a typical representative of this polymer family. The understanding of the film formation will provide a tool for the efficient control of the film structure and film properties, viz. its thickness and surface smoothness. According to the specific needs. the films will be deposited on both macroscopic and microscopic surfaces (microspheres, porous membranes). The project will support - in cooperation with other institutions - the development of applications in analytical chemistry , separation science, organic catalysis, anticorrosion coating. etc."@en .
