"The project is focused on elucidation of the structure of metal-oxide complexes localized in zeolite matrices, active in highly selective insertion of oxygen atoms into hydrocarbon molecule. The conditions of the synthesis and the effect of the structure of the matal-oxide complexes, and the mutual interactions of these complexes with matrices of various compositions and topologies, on the complex reactivity in decomposition of nitrous oxide, stabilization of oxygen and its insertion to benzeneand olefine molecules will be investigated. For these studies applications of complementary spectral techniques (UV-VIS-NIR, FTIR,ESR,Moessbauer,XPS) and model calculations, besides standard test of catalytic activity in oxidation of benzene to phenol and propylene to propylene oxide, will be employed.
