We plan to focus our research efforts to propagation characteristics and source mechanism of whistler-mode waves in the magnetosphere of the Earth, mode composition of the Langmuir-like waves in the solar wind, and generation of radio waves in the solar wind. We will use recent comprehensive measurements of plasma waves performed by the reserach spacecraft missions Cluster, Double Star, Demeter, and Stereo. These multicomponent data will be analyzed using the state-of-the-art techniques. The wave propagation through the magnetosphere will be modeled using the ray tracing techniques. Models of the source mechanism will be tested using computer simulations. Young scientists and students will be actively involved in this research."@en .
