"The proposed research will focus on experimental study of the Platinum-group minerals and phases selected for their known or potentially important mineralogical significance. The study will focus on ternary minerals (pa\u0161avaite, milotaite, kalungaite, chrisstanleyite, sopcheite) with a lack of knowledge about the corresponding ternary systems. Selected platinum-group minerals will be studied in terms of their synthetic analogues and phase relations. The aim of the research is to define the stable assemblages of known ternary minerals, their thermal stability, assess the ranges of solid solutions and explain the formation of these minerals under natural conditions. The research will focus on pure phase systems with one PGE (Pd) as major component involving Te or Se and another element (Ag, Pb, Sb) at temperatures relating of post magmatic conditions (dry condensed systems).
