The activation of these systems by compounds of tin in both valence state +II or +IV is proposed as much cheaper eventuality to mainly platinum metals and complex or electrochemical processes used for such purposes up to now. The tin compounds suggested for this duty will contain bidentate, bulky amido or highly silylated ligands. The first topic is to understand reaction pathways, identify and describe structure and properties of all products of these reactions. Prepared compounds and products of the reactivity will be identified by using various experimental techniques, mainly by multinuclear NMR spectroscopy, ESI - mass spectrometry or elemental analysis. In the solid state the XRD techniques on the single crystalline material will be applied. The potential applications of studied compounds are in catalysis of the selected set of transesterification and other reactions as for example hydroformylation, and formation of interesting materials."@en .
