"The main goal of the project is a fundamental research in the field of interferometric nanoscale measuring systems. It is linked to the currently running grant project of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic no. KAN311610701 under investigation at the Institute of Scientific Instruments ASCR, v.v.i. The effort will be concentrated on the analysis of limits of resolution and uncertainty in the dimensional nanometrology. The main accent will be put on investigation of spectral and noise properties of suitable laser sources, frequency stabilization techniques of these lasers, angular errors influences evaluation and compensation especially in multidimensional coordinate systems and the influence of parameters of the environment. This will represent a background for the introduction of new methods for optimalization and improving of the key parameters of nanoscale interferometric systems together with their direct traceability to the fundamental etalon of length.
