V\u00A0r\u00E1mci projektu bude" . "Humic substances (HS) are naturally occurring compounds ubiquitous in water, that were shown e.g. to interact with xenobiotics. In consequence of this interaction, properties of affected compounds such as bioavailability and toxicity are changed. Anotherimportant environmental factor affecting properties of both HS and xenobiotics is solar irradiation. Among highly hazardous xenobiotics belong dioxin-like compounds such as polychlorinated dioxins, furans and biphenyls, and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. Despite the numerous studies both on HS and dioxin-like substances, and potential irradiation impact, there has not been published any information on alteration of dioxin-like toxicity both by HS and irradiation yet.
