Protein composition of seminal plasma varies from species to species, but onthe other hand, homologous substances were found in more species. Proteins of boar seminal plasma belong to the most studied ones regarding their structure and function. The aim of the presented project is the search for proteins analogous to the main ofboar seminal plasma (spermadhesins and DQH protein) in seminal plasma of other species (canine, human). For this purpose, antibodies against some boar spermadhesins and DQH protein will be generated. Positively immunodetected components of human andcanine seminal plasma will be separated using modern chromatographic and electrophoretic methods and characterized by amino acid sequencing and mass spectroscopic analysis."@en .
