"Weathering of natural accumulations of ore components represents a very important process accompanied with releasing of a series of chemical elements (e.g. Pb, Cu, Ni, As ....) in the environment. The study of supergene mineral associations has been usedas one of the most important source for explaining and clarifying minerogenetic processes proceeding during such weathering. Results of this research need to be discussed in detail with all available published outputs of geochemical, experimental and modeling data. The proposed project concentrates on detailed mineralogical processing of supergene mineral associations at selected Czech (B\u011Bloves, Krupka, Moldava, Z\u00E1les\u00ED) and Slovak (Lubietov\u00E1) localities.
