"This project aims to support further research of the applicant within his postdoctoral work t the Astronomical Institute of the Charles University Prague. We propose to study violent processes of interaction between stars, the interstellar medium, andmassive compact objects which often coexist in a single astronomical system - a galactic nucleus. Our main goal is to discuss the structure and the evolution of dense nuclear clusters of stars in situations when the accretion flow of gas triggers strongactivity. We will consider a model which is based on a conventional view of galactic nuclei with accreting black holes. The case of nuclear clusters around supermassive black holes residing in galactic centers will be of particular interest, whilecore-collapsed star-clusters could stand as another kind of relevant objects where our calculations can be applied.
