"The grant project is devoted to the study of the spectroscopic characteristics of modified oligonucleotides, novel-type synthetic molecules, with chemotherapheutic interest and their interactions with biological systems. Main attention will be focused onsystematic research of physicochemical properties of uptake and distribution of modified as well as natural oligonucleotides. Experiments will be carried out on the three types of systems (from the simplest to the most complicated): 1) model system liposome, 2) plant cell - yeast and 3) animal cell. This post-doc project is attached to the main project within the framework of which the nucleotide analogues will be prepared.
