"Aim of the project is to describe properties of unburned carbon produced during coal combustion in two power stations equipped with circulating fluidised bed at two boiler outputs, during co-combustion of coal with waste materials, during coal combustionin a small local heating furnaces and also of unburned carbon prepared in laboratory. Elaboration of a method of unburned carbon preparation in laboratory is included in the solution of the project as well. Study of the coal, ash and mainly of unburned carbon samples (collected at different combustion units) will be focused on chemical, mineral and petrographical composition, on physical-chemical properties, such as specific area, pore distribution or density and on morphology of selected particles.
