On the basis of existing results, several colloid systems (sols, gels) were designed for the experimental part of the project. Humic acidswill be isolated from South Moravian lignite by alkaline extraction. During the complexation, humic acids will be used in the form of suspensions (sorption from solutions to solid surfaces), sols and gels. Preparation of the colloid systems withcharacteristic contents of humic substances will be optimized during the project. The project will include determination of the process that controls origin of complexes in the individual colloid systems, evolving mathematical description focused onkinetics of processes, analyses of systems after reaching the balance and characterization of the developed products in dependence on conditions in which they were prepared.
