"2010-12-31+01:00"^^ . "The respiratory diseases make up to 20% of vocational diseases being third most common and also the number of deaths are is linked to the environment pollution. Among the important tasks belongs not only the description of the sources and spread of the pollution, but also its deposition in the respiratory system of a human. Majority of the research is aimed mainly to the spherical particles deposition and relatively small attention is given to the fibrous particles. Therefore the proposed project is aimed to Large-Eddy Simulation (LES) of fiber deposition in the tracheobronchial tree of a human. The geometry will be based on CT scans of a human lungs available on the department. Appropriate dynamic subgrid model for LES for tidal flow of the whole breathing cycle will be developed.
