"Bridge aeroelasticity is an\u00A0engineering discipline combining mechanics, physics of fluids and computational fluid mechanics. From the very birth it reflects first and foremost the practical demand for complex and safe design of wind sensitive structures. The wind load acting upon the bridge and/or their load-bearing parts can cause damage due to the extreme static and dynamic (generally non-linear self-induced) response and\u00A0influence their lifetime. This is serious question in the light of ever growing requirements; longer spans, lighter structures and higher resistance.\u00A0 In the project, the methods using stochastic concept will be preferred for that. Such a complex problems may be analysed on the basis of a combination of the theoretical and experimental research only. It is focused on the further investigation of aeroelastic stability of bridge type cross-sections. Stochastic approach includes\u00A0the influence of noises having has an impact on\u00A0structural response in all senses. The\u00A0part of the research will rest on an experimental activity focused on the verification of simultaneously developed theoretical models. The experimental data will come out from the problem oriented models of bridges in wind tunnel and unique experimental mechanism.\u00A0Numerical analysis will use refined solver of Navier-Stokes equation being developed by applicants.
