At both genomic and nongenomic level it affects processes of cell elongation and cell division. The setting of auxin gradients in the plant tissues depends on the activity and localization of its membrane transporters. This process is under the control of auxin itself through its effect on the processes dependent on the dynamics of the cytoskeleton. The main objective of this project is to determine kinetic parameters of auxin flow across plasma in cell lines of tobacco and Arabidopsis overproducing or unable to produce proteins involved in the dynamic rearrangement of cytoskeleton. In parallel, the localization of auxin transporters and cell morphogenesis will be studied both in cell lines and selected mutants and crossed lines of Arabidopsis plants. The outcome of this project would significantly contribute to the understanding of the role of all nowadays described auxin transporter\u2019s trafficking regulatory proteins in both intercellular and intracellular auxin transport."@en . . . . .
