Nucleated crystallization of synthetic polymers is interesting both from theoretical and practical point of view as it is commonly\u00A0used in industry. Major problem of polymer nanocomposites investigation - inhomogeneous dispersion of nanofiller in the matrix - will be eliminated by\u00A0the sandwich method, which was recently developed in our laboratory.\u00A0The method yields a sandwich\u00A0specimen that contains a uniform 2D nanoparticle layer between thin polymer films. Using model sandwich systems of polypropylene/gold nanoparticles, we are going to\u00A0answer a long-lasting question: how the nucleation activity of nanoparticles depends on their size, shape, crystal faces and chemical\u00A0modification of their surface.
