"The aim of the proposed research is to deepen and further develop an understanding of higher dimensional generalizations of relativistic theory of gravitation interacting with physical fields and particles. We intend to investigate exact solutions of Einstein\u2019s equations that describe gravity in any dimension coupled to various fields, as motivated by contemporary physical models and theories. Specifically, we plan to find D>4 generalizations of important classes of four-dimensional spacetimes, investigate their relation to standard D=4 cases, analyze their properties including effects on particles, clarify their geometrical and physical interpretations, and determine their applications. We will also study a variety of possible generalizations of matter fields evolving on and interacting with gravitational backgrounds, and explore their symmetry properties or algebraic structure.
