"The project is focused on an analysis of properties and performance of composites utilizing the municipal incinerator solid waste materials, nominally fly ashes from electrofilters and under-furnace grate\u00A0slag materials. These materials that are characteristic by similar properties like waste materials from coal combustion, can find use as partial Portland cement replacement as well as fine grain aggregates replacement in composition of cement based composite materials. Since the concrete, and other cement based building materials are the most popular and most often used materials in building industry, utilizing of secondary raw materials in their production is profitable from the ecological as well from the economical point of view. Nevertheless, several residues having different chemical and mineralogical composition and hazard characteristics remain after the incineration. On this account, the variability of waste materials from incineration must be studied, and effects of their addition to the cement based composite composition must be evaluated."@en .
