"The object of the proposed project is to explore real possibilities and establish bases for utilization of green parts of cereal plants, particularly different forms of barley or oats in the form of health-beneficial %22green%22 food supplements and for the purposes of curative cosmetics. The main objective of the solution of the project will lie in the research of the chemical composition of green young parts of plants in different phases of plant growth and development (shoots, stems, haulm, and others) of the selected cereals in terms of the content of vitamins, minerals, enzymes and other substances with the demonstrated physiological bioactive effect. Natural diversity will be studied and selection of the most valuable and most suitable barley materials for growing and further processing will be carried out.
