Hypocholestrolemic effect is attributed to these substances in western countries so they have an importance in people health preventive nutrition. On the contrary \u00DF-glucans are undesirable in malt barley grain. Based on field trials results will be stated the share of genetic and nongenetic variability of tocol and \u00DF-glucan and genetic correlation with economic characters will be calculated. Genetic variability will be extended by breeding. Mechanisms of heritability of stated substances will be determined by analysis of hybrid progeny.
