"The subject of proposed research is the mental representation of morality, used by subjects to act and to reflect its behaviour. This proposed project is focused on two problem areas - the first is directed to cognitive psychology, the second is attachedto social-psychological applications. The first problem area will focus upon the analysis of how the socially shared moral norms are internalized. Also, we intend to seek for their functions as they rule behaviour and how they relate to emotions and the structure of the Self. The second problem area is focused upon group characteristics - social representation of concepts, relevant to moral judgements - namely concepts of ' good ' and ' evil '. Research will use a sample of adolescents. During their agethe personal identity is formed, and moral aspects are an important part of it.
