"The project called %22The Concept of Equal Chances and Quality of Education in the Czech and International Context%22 aims to explore the issue of school environment with the view to the concept of equal chances and quality of education. The project aims at lower secondary level of Czech education system where a comparative analysis of chances and conditions of two separate school institution and their students (%22z\u00E1kladn\u00ED \u0161kola%22 and %22osmilet\u00E9 gymnasium%22) is urgently needed. We would like to explore featuresof curriculum and school environment, which should guarantee all students the highest possible education standards. At the same time we would like to take into account the global world changes tending towards a democratic, plural society of active and equal citizens.
