"The development of the facts about infinity in the history of mathematics as a branch of science forms fundamental milestones for its development. We suppose that the development of ideas about infinity, even in the development of an individual, plays a similar role, specifically in the individual's mathematical education. The hypothesis of the so-called genetic parallel accepted by many specialists supposes identification of the same phenomena in the development of the conception of infinity of the current individual - a pupil or a student. This research will be focused on identification and mechanisms of overcoming obstacles in the concept of infinity, those of epistemological, didactic and ontogenetic origin.
