Transferring the managerial and marketing way of thinking and negotiating from business experience to regional level is closely related to public administration limitations. In association with the problems of the modem companies management the regional management is often regarded as a philosophy and a tool which manifests its will to act and to make regional politics more efficient and thus to support the process of development not only in controversial regions. In the process of the implementation of the regional management an important role is also played by the regional marketing which enables to specify the position of a region as a market product.
