V n\u00E1sledn\u00FDch pilotn\u00EDch studi\u00EDch psychiatrick\u00FDch pacient\u016F jsme prok\u00E1zali mo\u017Enost vyu\u017Eit\u00ED vMMN jako diagnostick\u00E9ho testu (HOSAK, L. et al., Acta Neurobiol Exp, p\u0159ijato k tisku, 2008; URBAN, A. et al., Schizophr Res, p\u0159ijato k tisku, 2008). Vlastnosti vMMN vyvolan\u00E9 pohybem v\u00A0zorn\u00E9m poli v\u0161ak nejsou dosud dob\u0159e prozkoum\u00E1ny, a proto navrhujeme lokalizovat neur\u00E1ln\u00ED zdroje vMMN a determinovat faktory ovliv\u0148uj\u00EDc\u00ED jej\u00ED genezi. "A pre-attentional information processing in man can be objectively evaluated by means of a non-invasive painless electrophysiological examination (Mismatch Negativity - MMN) (for review see NAATANEN, R. et al., Clin Neurophysiol, 118, 12: 2544-2590, 2007). In our lab we demonstrated possibility to evoke and record the MMN to visual motion (vMMN) (KREMLACEK, J. et al., Vis Res, 46, 4:485-490, 2006). In consequent pilot clinical studies we found changes of the vMMN in psychiatric patients, what implicate use of the vMMN as a diagnostic test (HOSAK, L. et al. Acta Neurobiol Exp, Accepted for publication, 2008; URBAN, A. et al., Schizophr Res, Accepted for publication, 2008). However, the theoretical background of the vMMN origin is not known. Thus, we intend to inspect its neural sources and factors influencing the vMMN generation. In the following part we will optimise the examination paradigm, describe inter- and intra-individual variability of the vMMN and determine normal values in healthy volunteers for its use in an objective neuro-psychiatric diagnostics."@en .
