Electrochemical methods will be proposed capable to recognize changes in the mutated proteins caused to single amino acid exchange. The ability of thiolated oligonucleotides to form self-assembled monolayers and to produce specific electrochemical signals will be utilized in the development of sensors for DNA-protein interactions and for determination of DNA point mutations.
