Osteoclasts are cells of hematopoietic origin and their formation is controlled by multiple transcription factors. The aim of this proposal is to define the role of PU.1, MITF, Myb, Fos and NFkB transcription factors in regulation of monoblasts/macrophages towards osteoclasts.
