"The research project represents the complex study of intercalated 2:1 phyllosilicates including the intercalation process, theoretical and experimental investigation of structure and properties of intercalates using combination of molecular computer simulations, X-ray diffraction and vibratioal spectroscopy. The complex structure investigation plays the key role in development of new materials based on intercalated phyllosilicates with desirable properies. The main aim of this project is to prepare and characterize the intercalated 2:1 phyllosilicates with optimum host-guest configuration in relation to their sorption, photophysical and photochemical properties."@en .
