O v\u00FDskytu fullerenu v uhl\u00EDkem bohat\u00FDch pevn\u00FDchbitumenech podobn\u00FDch skeln\u00E9mu uhl\u00EDku z vulkano-sediment\u00E1rn\u00EDho komplexu na lokalit\u011B M\u00EDtov jsme informovali Jehli\u010Dka et al., 2000). "Actually only three sites throughout the World exists from where C60 fullerene have been well documented in carbon rich metasedimentary rocks (Sudbury, Karelia, M\u00EDtov). In this proposal we suggest to corroborate our hypothesis which concerns one ofpossible mechanisms of formation of fullerenes in geological environments. This hypothesis comes from fullerene laboratory investigations by Sarobe and Jenneskens and from our previous finding of C60 fullerene in rocks of Precambrian age of the BohemianMassif. Our group have reported the occurrence of fullerenes in highly carbonified hard glass-like solid bitumens from the volcano-sedimentary system at M\u00EDtov (Jehlicka et al., submitted). The hypothesis is that fullerenes could be formed duringmetamorphism by natural pyrolysis of specific algal derived bitumen precursor. In this proposal we suggest to do experimental laboratory pyrolyses of model and natural bitumen precursors with the goal to form fullerenes by solid state transformation. The"@en . .
