"The project lies in the fields of biochemistry, biotechnology and separation techniques, covering two related subjects of study, viz: - development of new procedures, on the basis of magnetic selective and affinity adsorbents, for the isolation of biologically active compounds and organic compounds interacting with biological systems, - study of magnetic filtration of magnetic adsorbents from biological suspensions, optimization of preparation of magnetic adsorbents for individual applications. Thproject is interdisciplinar and is oriented on the application of progressive magnetic technologies in the above mentioned areas.
