"The project solving was focused on the preparation and study of macroporous carriers from hybrid materials consisting of oligomeric condensated silsesquioxanes (POSS) and chemically modified chitin derivatives (chitosan) with the aim to use them in chrom"@en . "The project is devoted to the study of macroporous chelating supports including membranes based on the Polyhedral Oligomeric Silsesquioxane (POSS) nanostructured substances and chemically modified derivatives of chitin (chitosan) in immobilized metal ionaffinity chromatography (IMAC). Chemical modification of amino groups of chitosan with various chelating ligands will be carried out. New hybrid macroporous supports differing in morphology, type and concentration of the chelating groups in chitosan derivatives will be prepared. Reactivity of the epoxy-POSS and chloride-POSS macromolecules will influence on the reinforcement and formation of porous structure of the supports. The content of the functional POSS macromolecules in the hybrid macroporoussupports will be optimized with the aim of preparation of mechanically stable supports with the desired porosity and pore sizes.
