"The cyclicity and the uniform development of ovarioles of the insect female reproductive system should be affected by the natural peptide trypsin modulating oostatic factors (TMOFs). In the proposed project, metabolism of these peptides of two different insect species (Aedes aegypti, Neobellieria bullata) and their synthesized analogs will be analyzed after different applications to establish conditions of optimal regulation of reproduction. Using two selected insect species (Neobellieria bullata, Diptera, Dysdercus cingulatus, Hemiptera ), elimination of the nervous and/or hormonal control of reproduction will be also applied to analyze the peptide mode of action. Different analogs of the both TMOFs will be synthesized, e.g., shortened pseudopeptides containing CH2-O isosteric bond in different sites of the investigated sequence. The selected biologically active peptides will be radiolabelled to obtain a high detection sensitivity for estimation of metabolites in the target organs of"@en . "GA203/02/0247" . . . . . . .
