"The keystone of the project is utilisation of recycled material from construction industry as a full substitution of natural gravel in production of cement based composites with polypropylene fibres and minimal amount of binder. The uniqueness of the design of this composite is to use wide grading curve of recycled aggregates only with limiting the maximum aggregate size, which increases the effectiveness of construction and demolition waste used in the production of structural concrete. The composite porous structure has different specifics in the behaviour and characteristics than common fibre reinforced composites. The project is therefore aimed at the complex analysis of the structure - the verification of physical and chemical characteristics and behaviour during long-term mechanical loading and influence of the environment."@en .
