"Important new results on detection of extremely high energy cosmic rays have appeared during several last years. While the rapid flux suppression above the energy of 50 EeV is well established, some other recent results are contradictory. The anisotropy in arrival directions of incoming high-energy cosmic rays observed by the south branch of the Pierre Auger Observatory is not confirmed by the HiRes and Telescope Array experiments located at the northern hemisphere. Also experimental results on the cosmic ray composition suggested by air shower data do not agree among themselves. Using different methods and available data collected by different cosmic ray observatories as well as very energetic gamma ray telescopes the proposed project searches for possibilities to explain their conflicting measurements.
