"High and low cycle fatique of ADI"@en . "19"^^ . . . . . . . . "High cycle and low cycle fatigue characteristics of unalloyed and low-alloy austempered ductile iron - ADI will be studied. The principal aim of the investigations is to determine the effect of austempered conditions on fatigue strength in high cycle andlow cycle regions. The fatigue behaviour will be evaluated on the basis of experimentally determined dates; especially of cyclic strain curves, Manson-Coffin curves, Woehler curves, rate of fatigue crack grofth curves, Smith diagrams and Haigh diagrams, using reversed tensile - compression loading. Qantification of relationships betvem structure , static and dynamic properties and fatigue characteristics is another part of the study.
