The solution of this project is aimed at understanding of factors which influence the origin of the acoustic emission from rock samples during triaxial loading: This loading allowto model the stress-strain state in roclanass in laboratory conditions, too. In addition to acoustic emision, the strength, deformation and other physical properties will be tested on samples of sedimentary rocks from the Czech part of the: Upper SilesiaCoal Basin. These tested samples will be either in the initial state or influenced by water or other liquids being used in rock burst protection.
