"The aim of the project is to obtain new data on phase equilibria and on thermodynamic properties of pure fluids and fluid mixtures. Based on the long-term experience and scientific potential of the team of the E. H\u00E1la Laboratory of Thermodynamics, the research will focus on (1) creating a methodological basis for experimental determination of fluid phase equilibria in the region from low up to critical pressures;(2) measuring accurate data which supplement data bases for development and verification of the methods for thermodynamic property modelling and predictions; (3) developing the thermodynamic models and data processing schemes for the types of fluids and fluid mixtures and/or state conditions so far resisting the quantitative description. Among others, the project will deal with systems containing e.g. polymers, ionic liquids, and with systems occurring in processes involving supercritical fluids (supercritical fluid extraction).
