"The project aim is to prepare and characterize multicomponent oxide catalysts dispersed over the surface of micro- or mesoporous support material. The catalysts will consist of alkane activation species (e.g. vanadium or iron) whose activity will be modified by other catalytically active element (e.g. molybdenum or antimonium). Such catalytic specie wiil be anchored on the surface zeolitc material or mesoporous silica material such as HMS, MCM and SBA materials. Catalyst will be characterised by means of N2-BET, XRF, SEM, TPR, DR UV-VIS, EPR methods. The catalytic activity of the prepared catalysts will be tested in the selective oxidation of both propane and butane and the ammoxidation of propane.
