"The present project is motivated by our effort to contribute to the development of alternative sources of small and medium power engineering. The project deals in a complex way with the problems arising in the gasification of typical biofuels in fluidized bed reactors. Physicochemical characteristics of a series of materials suitable as biofuels will be determined. The control of the fluid reactor for biomass gasification will be solved experimentally. Special attention will be paid to the process leading to the lowering of emissions of persistent organic pollutants, heavy metals, HCl, and NOx. The influence of heterogenous catalysis on the intensification of gasification and cleaning of produced gas will also be researched.The goal of theso defined experimental programme is to obtain new relevant data which could be used in the design and operation of fluidized bed units for the gasification of selected biofuels."@en . . . .
