"Core of the proposed project would be providing of methods for optimal geotechnical monitoring of natural and man-made slopes (embankments,spoil banks,extracted residual pits etc.).Optimization methods enable to increase and to evaluate monitoring measurements and further back analysis for determination of mechanical as well as deformational data of the rock mass. Effectiveness and reliability of monitoring measurements depends not only on the monitoring equipment used and the actual measurement itself, but in a certain way also on optimal placement of measuring equipment in space, on theirs selection and optimal number of measuring carried out.
