"8"^^ . "0"^^ . "8"^^ . "The proposed project is focused on the laboratory hydraulic research of hydraulic structures - culverts, dry polders and small dams (less than 30 m high). The main problem of culverts is the blockage of the structure during the raising limb of the floodby floation debris. The laboratory research and analysis of hydraulic behaviour will be focused on the procedure and effects of blocking of the intake and on the overcomming of these adverse situations. The function of dry polders is based on theballanced design and save behaviour of outflow control structure.The research will be, as for dry polders, focused on the inverstigation of optimal shape and function of hydraulic structures for the outflow control. The main task is the high capacity ofa control structure during the time when the flood is raising and the proper function of it during the flood with floating debris in the flow.
