"The aims of the proposed project are:The evaluation of water balance in landfills, with direction to research of filtration course, washing-out and washing-up selected compounds and estimation of moisture content in landfill body and influence of circulation of leachate on its production.Research of elimination of harmful compounds from the leachate, especially organic and nitrogen compounds. Optimal parameters of biological treatment of waste water with high relation of ammonia to organic pollution concentration will be estimated on a laboratory model. In addition to this process, leachate will be treated using soil filters enriched with natural adsorbents and on natural treatment plants.
