"The goal of the project is a basic research of the lowest troposphere layers to be mainly used for examination of electromagnetic wave propagation in both national and international scale. It is based on a unique set of mutually linked, time-space dependent, synchronized radio-electrical and radio-meteorological data. An extensive innovative experiment will be realised for combined, both local and remote sensing of the troposphere. Development of novel methods for data processing utilizing advanced radiowave propagation simulation methods and statistical investigation of measured radio-meteorological and radio-electrical data will be closely related to the experiment. The basic research will be focused on development of new methods for refractivity height profile estimation between transmitter and receiver based on simultaneous radio-electrical measurement in different heights at the receiver site.
