"The proposed project focuses to the improvement of the current and the development of new methods of analog digital conversion exploiting active elements and blocks working with the principle of switched capacitor (SC) technique and switched current (SI)technique for low-power/low-voltage ICs. The SC technique is widespread, but applied capacitors should be linear and their area on a chip is used to be mostly big. The active analog signal has, over and above, added noise caused by feed-through of the control signals when switching weighed capacitors, and not well matching of separate components on the chip. The SI technique has not been applied too much yet, but SI performance is expected to match and surpass that of SC during the course of the next decade and is highly prospective in new technologies.
