"Wet steam is used in many technical applications. Nuclear power plants in the Czech Republic are equipped with steam turbines operating with wet steam. Wet steam flows through last stages of turbines. Droplets in wet steam have unfavouravle influence toservice life of pipelines and are dangerous for some parts as governors and turbine blades. Steam is used to supply heat to various technical devices and also for district heating. When wet steam is used for heating, a part of the heat of evaporation isexploited only. Measurement of the moisture of wet steam flowing in pipelines is very complicated. There are several methods used in different situations, but none of them is convenient in all applications. The proposed project aims to solve: 1. Motionof water droplets in the fundamental elements of pipeline systems. 2. Development of a method to draw off of water films from pipelines. 3.
