This implies an ability of simulation systems to manage different simulation components in distributed computing platforms of different types and toensure real time operation and model collaboration. The High Level Architecture (HLA) was developed in USA as a framework to meet this needs. The goal of this Project Proposal is to develop and practically verify software components (using HLA architecture) supporting communication and synchronisation among different types of simulation models closely related to area of the manufacturing processes and systems (MPS). Project outputs will be library of specifically %22tailored software components%22for MPS and basic procedures for practical building up of complex simulation models focused on MPS area.
