"The aim of the project is to work out bases for improvement of prediction of the onset and the extent of laminar/turbulent transition region in a boundary layer under conditions related to the operating conditions in internal aerodynamics. The available results of experimental investigation of by-pass transition will be extended up to the outer stream turbulence levels from five to ten percent; as a rule flows with at least two considerably different turbulence length scales will be generated.
