"The project aims to search for synergies between the utilisation of so-called green plastics with common plastics, so as the surely environmentally-friendly usage of bio- and oxo- decomposable thermoplastics, does not in future cause (when the extent of their usage increases) just the opposite effect - limiting the recyclability of common thermoplastics. Repeated usage - i.e. recycling - is definitely the most environmentally-friendly way of cutting carbon dioxide emissions, energy, and crude oil consumption in the production of plastics. Any reduction in the lifetime of products made from plastics as a consequence of the presence of bio- and oxo- degradable plastics would have a negative impact on the environment, and the reasons for using such materials would be questionable, or limited just to specific applications. As a result, this could bring about a slump in the use of such environmentally-friendly materials. Elimination of the negative influence of degradable plastics will be studied."@en . "2"^^ .
